Clock Making for the Woodworker
Published in Paperback by McGraw-Hill/TAB Electronics (May, 1984)
Average review score:

Clear and concise clock-makers guideAs a former student of "Skip" Kadar I was delighted to see this book was published. I utilized a few techniques demonstrated when I crafted a Grandfather clock from scratch using my own design drawn from examples in this book. I have also crafted several smaller mantel-style clocks also using the book as a rough guide.

Teaching Marching Band Techniques BookThis text covers all aspects of "how to" for teaching a successful marching band program. The examples are clear and the prose is easily understood. The information is very pragmatic. The text contains three selections as examples with accompanying drill charts. It lacks an index.

Costing Human Resources
Published in Paperback by PWS Publishing Co. (May, 1991)
Average review score:

Very Helpful to the HR professional!!I actually bought this book because I was working on a class project for Labor Relations and needed to read Chapter 7. Once I got the book, though, I realized that I had actually gotten a treasure. This book will help any HR professional who wants to think strategically and find a way to quantify the value of any organization's most valuable commodity-its people. The book is surprisingly easy to read and understand.
It contains very helpful and useful information. I would recommend this book very highly.

Criminal Procedure: Constitutional Limitations in a Nutshell (Nutshell Series)
Published in Paperback by West Wadsworth (November, 2001)
Average review score:

A must have for a criminal procedure classThis book is a clear and concise rendition of the law regarding criminal procedure. It includes all the cases that one would find addressed in a criminal procedure class. This book is worth its weight in gold if you are a law student. It not only substituted flawlessly for my textbook (which incidentally was written by the same two authors) but it was much easier to understand. The nuthsell series is one of the best outline series available in my opinion. I should point out however that the format is not that of a traditional law outline. It reads like a book rather than like a regular bulletted outline. However I found that the narrative format made it easy to understand the material. And unlike other outlines, this book can stand on its own for a quick overview of a topic rather than other traditional outlines which require some familiarity with the subject before the outline makes any sense. I would reccomend this book and this series to anyone who needs to learn (quickly) about an area of law.

Crusade Lore: The Storytellers Screen and Book (Mage, the Sorcerers Crusade)
Published in Paperback by White Wolf Publishing Inc. (July, 1998)
Average review score:

Very well doneAs usually there are a lot of things designer would love to add to their work and cannot. The idea behind Crusader lore is to write down all that cannot be in the mother book. Even if this is a supplement, not a game book itself, it's very interesting and maybe a must-have to ambitious storytellers. The screen? Maybe people don't want to build walls between Storyteller and players. It's useful, howere, as a tables-summary.

Dana's Competition
Published in Paperback by Little Apple (July, 1997)
Average review score:

Junior Gymnasts - Dana's CompetitionMy six year old daughter loved this book. I really enjoyed listening to her read it, too! It is the story of a group of nine year old girls who are on a Level 5 gymnastics team. In this first book of the series of six, the girls are getting ready for their first competition. The story is very realistic and engaging. I would recommend this book to any young girl interested or involved in gymnastics.
